This clip is proof that with a little bit of imagination you can create a surfboard out of almost anything. Here a guy by the name of Björn Holm take his love of skateboarding and mixes it with a passion for surfing. Using old skateboard decks he breaks down the timber to create a colorful fish. Check it out!

Brain Bent is a man that knows what he likes. He has made a name for himself as a DIY surf pirate and in this clip shows just how much fun one can have with nothing more then a kook box and some small surf.

Claimed to be the biggest wave ever ridden. Garrett McNamara takes on a rouge wave out the back in Portugal. Let us know what you think

A legend at one of the nations best points. Footage from earlier this week of Laird Hamiltion on a hydrofoil surfing out the back of indicators and working his way into the impact zone. This is an close as you can get to walking on water.

Get creative.

Surf is where you find it! Sometimes it just takes a little bit of creativity and an itch to surf for us to look outside the box and see what is right in front of us. In this clip a couple locals in Lisbon, Portugal find a fun little left on a day with no swell at all.

For all you big wave junkie out there, here is a taste of the best big wave rides of last year! Every year the XXL awards recognizes and crowns the best monster waves of that year. With plenty of swell in 2011 it is no surprise that much of this footage has pushed the boundaries of what is possible. Who do you think has what it takes to win?

Fun little day out at Sandys! Plenty of waves to go around and perfect conditions. Film shot by the one and only Giles Gap Tooth. This guy is loving the Go Pro that he picked up from the shop. Awesome footage and lots of fun had by all!

For all of you that came to last years screening of Lost Atlas by Kai Neville, you know what sort of a treat you are in for. Neville’s films follow some of the worlds best high performance surfers as they travel to remote locations for slabby surf and deep barrels. These culture defining flicks have been some of the most talked about surf films of our generation and by watching this little snippet of Neville’s third installment there is no doubt the team has outdone themselves once again!

We’re flooded in at the Ru so can’t make it to the shop. Will try again when the tide goes down at midday. Stay dry!
